FRASER COAST CAMPING HIRE

The daily rates depend on Hybrid Caravan type and whether off peak or peak, Hybrid Caravans from $99 per day. The rates are daily (not nightly) and pick up can be from 8.30 am and return up to 5.00 pm. All our fleet are fitted out with all kitchenware, tables and chairs but additional items such as linen, BBQ can be hired and rates are available on our Camplify listings. There is a one off Service fee on each booking of $30 for the hybrid vans which contributes towards the cost of consumable such as gas, water, pre-handover clean, etc.

We offer 10% DISCOUNT to return hirers during off peak periods. We can also discuss discounts on longer hires depending on destinations and dates.

We can relocate any of our Hybrid Caravans to your chosen site within a 100 klm range dependent on availability of driver.

Delivery, Setup, Take Down & Pick Up is included in the Delivery and Set Up fee on Camplify. Within 50klm it is $100.00 return or within 100klm it is $200 return. 

For Fraser Island we can deliver to Rainbow Beach and pick up from Rainbow Beach at a return cost of $260.00.

 Camplify charge a booking fee which provides you with:

Insurance , Roadside Assistance, 3rd party liability cover, emergency accommodation (limits apply), secure bond & 24 hr support & assistance.

Fraser Coast Camping Hire use Camplify Premium Membership Insurance Cover and as such all terms and conditions are as per Camplify. Our Hybrid Caravans are designed and approved for Off Road use and therefore are insured (subject to booking approval of destination and driver experience) however the insurance does not cover accidental off road under body or suspension damage so driver beware. 

**Awnings are not insured and damage usually results in full replacement so much care must be taken to avoid expense at hirers cost. Winds stronger than a light breeze or solid rain is not suitable for awnings, they should be looked upon as a light sunshade only and taken in otherwise.**

Our fleet are continuously coming in and out at our Hervey Bay location however if suitable we are more than happy for you to view when you are ready to book if possible.

Fraser Coast Camping Hire respectfully requests that hirer’s wipe over all surfaces & empty the toilet cassette before returning the vans, campervans or motorhome. This keeps us all safe and saves you the hirer from incurring standard cleaning charges which are $90 cleaning fee and $60 toilet cassette clean. If van is returned in an unreasonable condition, charges will still apply. The Fraser Coast Camping Hire team will then follow up with the thorough COVID SAFE clean ready for the next hirer.

If taken off road or in sand (Only Off Road Hybrids allowed)  then we ask that to avoid Cleaning Charges an external and underbody wash is carried out before returning. Otherwise you can select the Outback Clean Option when booking which is $250.00 and includes the full outback clean.

We ask that if hirer’s chose to not clean or empty toilet cassettes please select and add the appropriate charge at the time of booking to confirm you will require us to carry out these tasks.

Of course you can! We love travelling with our beautiful girl as much as she loves travelling with us. So please message us on booking which furry member you would like to bring along and we will approve most. Unfortunately our Hybrids aren’t really suitable for really large dog breeds but be sure to check with us. We just ask no pets on beds or seats and if please try to remove hair before returning.

HYBRID CARAVANS

Children are to be supervised especially around control panels etc. These are all new or current Hybrid Caravans so a full inspection will be carried out before and after the van is hired. Damages incurred will be at the cost of the hirer.

Please restrict food to external area. Smoking is not allowed inside the van at anytime. Please be wary of smoke entering van from outside.

Pets will need to be approved dependent on the size and behaviour of pet. Please no pets on bedding at anytime.

Although the campers are full off road, travel to and on Fraser Island must be approved first.
There are terms and conditions regarding travel and camping on the Island. Some of which are as follows:
Fraser Coast Camping Hire at times will accept a hire for Off Road Hybrid Van to travel to, on and from Fraser Island.
The conditions of hire state that as long as the road being driven on is an existing road path and not beach shore then the hybrid van can be taken to Fraser Island.
The driver of the tow vehicle must have adequate experience of driving on sand and terrains found on Fraser Island whilst towing a van of similar size and weight.
The driver must provide their own tools for inflating and deflating tyres and recovery tracks.
This means;
The hybrid van must travel along either a:-
– sealed road
– stone road
– dirt road
– beach road (organised existing tour roads with designated camping sites off the beach shore)
The hybrid van is to be taken on to Fraser Island only via Inskip Point and must remain on the beach highway only and is not to be towed or taken on inland tracks on the Island.
The hybrid van must remain on designated beach highway road when travelling and must remain camped in a designated camp area only (no beach camp). The van must also not be taken past Eli Creek.
The Hybrid Van must have all sand/salt removed internally and externally (including under carriage) before returning from hire.

 PICK UP & RETURN

Pick Up Time after 9 am unless agreed prior. Return Time before 5 pm unless agreed prior.

PETS

Pets will need to be approved dependent on the size and behaviour of pet. Please no pets on bedding or seating at anytime.

EMERGENCY

If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 – they call the NRMA. Then call Fraser Coast Camping Hire.

DAMAGES

No matter how small please report any damages or breakages to Fraser Coast Camping Hire immediately.

PLEASE BE WARY OF HEIGHT when parking and driving to avoid damage by overhead trees, bridges, etc. Please ensure all windows and roof fans and antenna closed before travel.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

We generally have a minimum 2 day hire for hybrid vans however at times when discounts are offered a 3 day hire period may be applicable. There is a 4 day minimum on the motorhome & campervans.

Christmas & New Year specific date ranges are minimum 7 day hire and Easter minimum 4 day hire.

Fraser Coast Camping Hire like to make sure our Hybrid Caravans are packed full of all the goodies but if you are after a few extras to lighten your packing load we also offer the following:

Linen Package $65 ($95 for 5 berth Jawa Infinity) – Includes all Doonas, Covers, Pillows, Sheeting & Towelling. Let us to the packing and the washing!

BBQ Hire $50 – Please clean before return.

Clean Van for Me $100 – Internal & External (not applicable if wiped over and dishes cleaned before return)

Clean Toilet & Empty Toilet $90 – (not applicable if toilet cassette emptied before return)

Outback Clean $250 Hybrid Vans – (not applicable if full underbody, internal and external wash and wipe down before return)

The Electric Brake Controller is designed to keep you and the van safe on the road and is a necessary requirement for the Hybrid Caravan hires.

We supply this free of charge so there is no need for you to do anything but download the Elecbrake app on your mobile on pick up. It is a bluetooth system which runs off the App on your phone. Simple as that.
